Title

Destination communications and marketing system
A Destination Management System is a tool for taking online bookings, but as Sally Edwards Hart explains it also has many more uses.

A destination management system is essentially a central database which holds information about accommodation, activities and attractions etc. which is updated in real time and is therefore never out of date. All of the tourism providers in a destination can use the system for online bookings meaning that they do not need to invest in their own individual system. The DMS gathers and collates statistics as it goes. The DMS can also be used to build your own online questionnaire/survey.
